Glass Bead Coin Purse With Metal Frame - Siena

These geometric handwoven glass bead coin purses are made by Mayan women in the Lake Atitlán basin.

The Siena model is named for the colorful Palio festival and horse race, which is celebrated in wildly colorful style. These pouches have a filigreed metal frame and are lined in cotton fabric.
