Cosmetic Bag - MESA Gold Pink

Beautiful hand-embroidered clutch using punch-needle technique similar to rug hooking, this cosmetic bag has a magnificent texture.  The same design comes in 2 vibrant color combinations:  Gold/Pink  and  Red/Blue.   

We produced a collection of handcrafted products built upon the abilities and traditions from a few communities in the rural areas of Guatemala in order to generate immediate income for needed women artisans and the resulting designs involve silk-screen printing, punch needle embroidery and sewing workshops. A single wide-ranging palette of threads was used across the communities in order to craft a homogenous collection.

Upcycled canvas on front and back of clutch, inner cotton lining
YKK gold metal zipper with a cotton thread matching color lozenge pull

Machine wash in cold water with similar colors. Machine dry, use medium heat iron.  Use a comb for the tassel threads.

Due to the handcrafted characteristics there may be minor variations in size and color shading.
